I am a registered speech-language pathologist with a masters degree
in clinical science from the University
of Western Ontario and am also a member of the Canadian
Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (CASLPA)
and the Ontario Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and
Audiologists (OSLA). I have
experience working in a hospital, two childrens' treatment centers,
and a schoolboard. I currently work privately (Oshawa Speech and
Language Centre) providing assessment and treatment to children
and adults with communication difficulties.
I have come to realize that those who have been affected by communication
disorders often have feelings of anxiety and isolation. It was my
hope to provide easy access to information for such individuals
and a meeting place for them to share their concerns and opinions.
In addition, it was also my hope to provide a members area for
speech language pathologists to share thoughts and resources to
better serve our clients. This area is password protected and I
encourage speech paths to email me with proof of eligibility in
exchange for a password.
I find this career an interesting and challenging one. If you would
like to learn more about me or my interests please don't hesitate
to contact me at speechpath@gmail.com
or at (905)432-9100.

I am currently a graduate student in Speech-Language Pathology
at the University of Western Ontario. I received an M.A. from the
University of Toronto in Spanish linguistics. I am fortunate to
work with John Valiquette on Speechweb, a site that I feel has a
lot to offer both the community and SLPs. We have recently added
a new section for members entitled Articles and Books of Interest.
